This and the next 3 dates listed (through 7/3/70) were part of the Trans Continental Pop Festival tour by train across Canada with Janis and the Band among many others. See Might As Well for a response (the title quotes Janis). Reportedly there are 100 hours of raw film footage from the tour in process of being edited into a feature documentary. The 2 songs in circulation come from video tape from this footage. Don't Ease is acoustic; New Speedway is electric and features Pigpen's harmonica. David Galbraith, an audience member, recalls that NRPS opened and that the Dead's set included Lovelight and Casey Jones. SBD of Janis's awesome set from Toronto 6/27/70 is in circulation. There is said to be a video tape of film from this show in circulation containing an All Star Jam including Jerry & Billy performing CC Rider, and the Dead performing a version of Easy Wind, and a version of Candyman.
