Comments Complete show available commercially on Dick's Picks 30. Complete show on AUD except the Other one breaks off at 26:42. The quality of the tape varies, improving over the course of the show; it's possible the mics were moved between sets. This is a great show. False start on BT Wind. Garcia on pedal steel for LL Rain. Hard to distinguish the transition b/t China>Rider b/c of tape quality. (1) Truckin Timing: Truckin' {5:13} > Jam {2:31} > Truckin' Reprise {1:04}. (2) After 'Mexicali' Phil address the audience members who are fans of 'Alligator,' Hey for all you alligator fans out there we done ah alright alright Alright we understand there's a lot of alligator fans out there, but we done forgot it see. And so ah we're gonna have to remember it sometime later you know (crowd chants alligator) Is that what he says? Thanks I needed that. (3) Pigpen: Thank you. (4) Lesh: This one kind of speaks for itself. Weir: Time for a crying song folks. Lesh: Actually might repeat instructions a bit. (5) Lesh: Thanks Texans. (6) 3:23 Jam Between China > Rider. (7) Weir: We're gonna take a short break and we'll be back in just a few minutes. (8) Lesh: Donna Godchaux, Our new piano player Keith, New York City. (9) Pigpen: Thank You.
