| Comments | It is now thought that the old tape circulating labeled "Merced 3/27/69" actually belongs to Modesto 3/28/69. See this date for more information on this tape. So far we have not been able to locate any information confirming that there was also a show played in Merced on 3/27/69 and presently we think that probably there was no show on that date -- but this remains uncertain. The Merced date does not appear in the Book of the Deadheads ; presumably its presence in DeadBase derives from the Tambakos-Menke transcription of the cassette master (see more under 3/28/69). |
