One | Turn On Your Lovelight (1) [#11:52] (2) ; Dark Star [10:20] > Saint Stephen [7:29] (3) > The Eleven [8:47] > Drums [3:05] > The Other One [6:#08] (4) > Cryptical Envelopment [6:25] > Feedback [1:06] > And We Bid You Good Night [1:02]
Comments | (1) Lovelight breaks in just before "without a warning". (2) Pigpen: "thank you" over the tuning strains of Dark Star. Phil: "We once put this song out on a single, that's interesting". Jerry: "one of our obscure singles". Bob: "for you ??-musicologists" (can't make the word out, Bob is trying to use some big word - maybe Ethno-musicologists?). (3) After "one man gathers what another man spills" in Saint Stephen, several voices are heard off mic "What's it going to be? Ok, forget it boys. We're going to do it like to join you outside..." or something close to that. (4) there is a break at 2:50 and comes back just before the first verse - unclear how much is missing. According to the Rock Encyclopedia book, the other artists were Chuck Berry, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Marvin Gaye, Steppenwolf, and Country Joe & the Fish.
