Comments |
The first set was NRPS with Jerry on pedal steel and concluded, as often, with Honky Tonk Women. In addition to the tunes Howard Levine remembers by name from the SET 2, he recalls that there was "a lot of Pigpen, kinda scary." He describes the Dark Star > Saint Stephen as "amazing." This run of shows is advertised on page 47 of the Village Voice for 10/29/70.. The songs listed are based on the comments of Howard Levine & Mitch Weingand, who saw this show.
