| Comments | The newly circulating 50-minute SBD tape contains the beginning of the Dead's set. Probably as much more is missing. DeadBase IX's list agrees with this tape through Casey Jones ; after Casey Jones, instead of Easy Wind it lists King Bee ; Beat It On Down The Line ; Good Lovin' ; Doin' That Rag ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider ; Baby Blue. The poster for this weekend's shows at Winterland reads "2 days only - Fri+Sat Oct. 24+25." The Sunday show must have been added later -- not unusual at BGP in those days. Jerry addresses the chorus of Dire Wolf to the "Zodiac killer." The Dead opened for the Airplane at this show, as on Friday (the Airplane opened Saturday).
