Notes
First recorded by Dylan in December 1962 for the Witmark publishing company.
A working title for this during recording sessions was Lonesome Would Mean Nothing To Me.
Some Dylan scholars have suggested a link between this song and the 16th century English song Westron Winde, also known as O Western Wind. The link is based on the similarity of a couple of lines of the lyrics.
